A closer relationship, when the circumstances call for it.
Some property decisions need more time, more coordination and a familiar person to return to. The Private Office provides a more closely managed relationship for selected Private Clients.

By appointment.
In person.
Certain Private Clients are invited to meet with us personally where their circumstances warrant a more tailored strategy. The meeting follows the initial online consultation and has an agreed purpose.
Private meetings are available by appointment at selected Central London business locations. Your venue and meeting arrangements are confirmed personally with the invitation.
The attention follows the need.
A more intensive relationship is appropriate where it can make a useful contribution. There may be several priorities to bring together, a significant time constraint, an unusual property situation or a need for closer communication between an owner and the proposed specialist partner.
Serious commitment, aligned owners, realistic expectations and the practical ability to proceed remain central to consideration. A high property value does not, by itself, create a reason for an invitation. Equally, a more modest property may warrant substantial personal attention where the circumstances and readiness support it.
An invitation is considered after the initial online consultation, when we have a fuller understanding of the owner’s position. The service is deliberately limited so that the level of involvement can reflect the needs of the clients being supported.
A meeting with a clear purpose.
Meeting in person should add something to the conversation. It may allow more time to explore competing priorities, involve another authorised owner or establish a sequence of decisions that is difficult to settle through shorter exchanges. We agree the focus in advance so that you understand why the meeting has been proposed.
Beforehand, your Montclare contact confirms the location, the people attending and any information that would be useful to have available. If someone else is attending on an owner’s behalf, their role and authority should be clear. You can also raise any access requirements when the arrangements are discussed.
The setting provides space for a private discussion; the value lies in the preparation and follow-through. The aim is to leave with a shared understanding of your objective, the matters still requiring confirmation and the next action for the relevant parties.
A named contact who knows the context.
Your dedicated Montclare contact provides continuity across the agreed service. The reasons behind your timeframe, the concerns already discussed and the decisions still outstanding should remain part of the conversation as it develops.
This becomes particularly useful when several exchanges are taking place. A property business may need further information, you may be waiting for clarification from an adviser, or a change in circumstances may affect an earlier plan. Your contact helps keep the communication connected and directs questions to the firm responsible for answering them.
The agreed service may include direct telephone and messaging access, priority communication, proactive updates, private meetings and closer partner coordination. The scope is confirmed around the individual circumstances, with clear contact and availability arrangements from the outset.
A written point of reference.
Following an appropriate consultation, a Private Property Brief can bring the discussion together in a concise written record. Its purpose is to make the agreed direction easier to refer to, particularly where there are several considerations or people involved.
- The property and the owner’s stated objective.
- The intended timeframe and the priorities behind it.
- The potential route discussed and any conditions still to be clarified.
- Outstanding information, the next action and the relevant point of contact.
The brief reflects the information available at the time. It should distinguish what has been confirmed from what remains a possibility. It is not a formal valuation, an offer, a guarantee of a sale or a substitute for legal, tax or financial advice.
Progress you can understand.
A useful update explains what has changed, what is still outstanding and what is expected next. It should be clear whether an action sits with you, the appointed partner or another professional, and whether a date is proposed or confirmed.
Montclare’s coordination is intended to help you follow that picture. We remain available as your Montclare point of contact while the appointed businesses carry out their respective work. We cannot make another firm’s decision, control a buyer’s conduct or guarantee the progress of a transaction.
Access beyond conventional office hours.
Active Private Clients receive direct telephone and messaging access to their dedicated contact, including outside conventional office hours where agreed. The appropriate channel, usual response arrangements and way to raise an urgent matter are confirmed when the service begins.
Contact arrangements are agreed individually. Your property manager will explain the appropriate route for time-sensitive matters and the availability included in your service. Matters requiring another professional remain subject to that firm’s own arrangements.
Personal attention, clearly defined.
A closer relationship should make responsibility easier to understand. The proposed or appointed partner remains responsible for its own valuations, marketing, negotiations or other transactional services. Your solicitor and other advisers remain responsible for the professional work you engage them to provide.
Montclare’s role is origination, introduction and the agreed personal contact around that process. We do not hold client money or provide conveyancing. Any decision to appoint a business or proceed with a transaction remains yours, with the relevant terms and referral arrangements explained before that decision.
The starting point is the same.
You do not apply separately for a status or book a private office meeting directly. Begin with the Private Client Application and explain the property, your intended timeframe and the support you believe would be useful.
If an initial consultation is appropriate, that conversation allows us to consider the level of involvement the circumstances warrant. Any further invitation follows that understanding.
A more personal approach
begins here.
Tell us about your property, the decision you are considering and what a successful sale would mean to you. We will review your circumstances individually and consider whether Montclare can offer a meaningful next step.
